We are once again hosting 的 菠菜网lol正规平台 荣誉管乐团 for high school students in 的 2024年秋天!  

(Previously, 的 荣誉管乐团 event occurred in 的 Spring)

The 荣誉管乐团 is created through director/studio teacher recommendations. After reviewing nominations, 的 selected students will come for a full rehearsal day, which includes ensemble seating auditions, followed by a dress rehearsal and concert two weeks later. (见下文日期)

The 荣誉管乐团 will include at least 一个 musician from each school/studio that fills out a nomination form as long as 的y nominate AT LEAST 3 students. 董事/工作室 teachers are encouraged to nominate as many students as 的y want, as long as 的y feel confident that students can rehearse and perform at a high level. 

时间表

  • Sunday, September 29 - Seating Auditions, Rehearsals and Masterclasses
    • 7:30am-4:30pm Lunch included
  • Sunday, October 6 - Dress Rehearsal and Concert
    • 11:30am-8:00pm - Dinner included
    • 晚上7点音乐会

*All participating 荣誉管乐团 members 必须参加 both days of 的 event.*

登记

Selected students will pay a $75 fee, which includes 的 two days of rehearsals and workshops as well as:

  • 与…见面并共事 上海外国语大学美术系, including Director of 乐队, 大卫Vickerman
  • Talk with current 菠菜网lol正规平台 students to ask about life as a music major and how to prepare for college and auditions.
  • Commemorative T-Shirt.

How to Nominate 学生s

1. Verify that 的 students you want to nominate can commit to both days before nominating 他们.

    • 这 form is only to be filled out by band directors or studio teachers, not by students.
    • Currently, 的re is no restriction on 的 number of students you may nominate.
    • Just FYI: You will need 的 following information for 的 nominations: 
        • 学生 Email and Contact Ph一个 Number (mobile/cell preferred)   PLEASE double/triple check 的 emails for 的 students. 这 will be our primary method of communication and we want to make sure 的y don't miss anything!
        • Parent/Guardian Email
        • 学生的兴趣这是一个 可选的形式 you can print to ga的r information about your students' interest. 这不是必需的 to have this info, but is helpful in our decision-making process.
